Emmy the Cat needs a home
Emmy's approximate birthdate is March 6, 2007. She is spayed, vaccinated, and FIV/FELV tested negative. Emmy's adoption fee is $150.00 + tax.
Emmy had a life that she loved. She had a home where she was cared for and other cats that she enjoyed spending time with. That all came to a sudden end when her owner unexpectedly passed away. With no one to care for the animals, her owner's family did the best that they could and turned them in to the vet clinic that they had been seen at. They were then turned over to a shelter.
At the age of 10 years old, Emmy found herself scared and alone in a shelter environment; away from everything she had ever known. Her scared behavior labeled her as unadoptable and she was scheduled for euthanasia.
The death of a pet owner should not be a death sentence for the animals they leave behind. STAR bailed Emmy out of that shelter and welcomed her into our rescue family, where she is settling in to her foster home. She is quickly learning that life will be great again. She is a sweet girl who wants to to trust and love again. She would do best in a calmer home with an experienced cat owner who will give her the time that she needs to feel safe again.
